Probably... It fits under a Pontiac Trans Am shaker, it's very close to an AVS size wise... It's the same height as the OE carb, 3.25" check the dimensions at the link below...  Only issue I've heard of is you need to run fittings that angle to fuel inlet & outlet downward not straight out....

John - I just received a notice that my unit has been shipped. I think I ordered mine about a week ahead of you, so hopefully you won't be waiting much longer.
still waiting.....  6 week back ordered as of tomorrow. 9 days ago they told me any day now...... I"m losing my enthusiasm to tear the car apart at this point in the short driving season.  I think I'm going to have to remove the passenger side header to drill for The 02 bung.  may as well do the driver side too, to replace the gasket since it's ticking up in #1 port.  Things snowball don't they??  I was hoping to have this installed and thoroughly tested for the long drive to Farmington this weekend for the Mopars in the Park show.  Guess that dream is gone.

I asked if they'd put one into my cuda if I bought one  -  the opted not to.   Otherwise I would have drove over to get it put on.    I'll wait for your report whenever that comes.

There's a write-up on FiTech in this month's Mopar Muscle magazine.   It mostly repeats what you can read from the FiTech website.

I received an Email about a week ago asking if I'd like to take a silver finish unit which they could ship right away or wait for the black one.... Since I'm buried in house work I opted to wait for the black unit....

I checked their site and don't see anything about hook up for throttle cable and transmission kick down. Do they sell adapter?

to be honest...I was also thinking about uprading to a EFI ...but the more information I get about them.... the more I love my TQ !  EFI is fine...  when everything works together in a perfekt way.....

I think with a real good dialed in carb /ignition   we are running very close to a EFI...and also  IF something happens on the Highway..Interstate...or countryside...   there will be a autoparts store nearby...who has car parts in stock...      A special EFI unit....  would make more headaches ( I think )

But..   the future will be in favour of the EFI :-\

My reason for doing the upgrade is the fuel available these days.. I've had carbs since the 70's, I know how to dial them in pretty good but between the starting issues due to fuel boiling off & the drivability issues due to varying fuel quality plus the ability of EFI to keep the mixture corrected at varying altitude which is a huge plus since I live at sea level & I like driving in the nearby mountains on roads in excess of 7500 feet...  Yes components can fail, the availability can be an issue but honestly the days of walking into an auto parts store & buying a carb kit are history too.....  Plus the FItech unit uses common GM sensors & components so theres a good chance parts availability is actually better than the carburetor...

Oh & I've tried EFI years ago so I could easily be a big nay sayer but having made a living working on EFI systems from the early 80's till the late 90's  I see them as the best upgrade going... As long as they work right.... My past experience wasn't good but I believe the guys from Fitech are doing a much better job..

            HOLLEY   PROJECTION

I ran a Holley Pro jection DFI system, it ran great....Sometimes...It had no memory capabilities, so the only way to find a problem was to be watching the laptop when it screwed up...If it were a hard fault, no problem, but intermittent problems weren't so easy...The first time I fired it up it had a failed injector...replaced TB assy under warranty...Next a intermittent air charge sensor, it was quicker to just buy one, only $50.00, running pretty good, took a road trip to LA, lost a MAP sensor about 15 miles from home, luckily it made the other 600 or so miles...Running good again, drove it most of the summer, not as consistent as the carter carb but way cooler to be able to pop the hood & say "Yeah its Injected"... Another road trip, Sacramento, on the way there I start getting a surge, about 40 miles from home the surge starts feeling worse, I pull off the freeway & the car dies...Call AAA & tow it home...Lost a fuel pump, leaned out & cracked a manifold...As it turns out the exhaust wound up fighting me for three years after that till I got both the warpt flanges & the other manifold replaced as well...You know the carter runs really consistent  I think FI is a good thing, I just feel Holley did a cheap half-a$$ job of it & used the cheapest components that the bean-counter in charge of purchasing could find...

Now that Fitech has put a system out for half the price of everyone else Holley jumps on the bandwagon & people say oh you should buy the Holley system they've been selling high performance stuff for a long time these guys from Fitech are newbies, a flash in the pan.... I say F@#k Holley these new guys actually answer the phone & in reality have been doing just EFI for a long time.... Most everything I read from guys who actually have bought the system has been very positive, the only issues I've heard of have been due to the surge tank "Command Center" which I won't be running anyway...

Since it's designed to use a standard GM style hookup I'm expecting either a Hollry or a Carter throttle adapter will fit, I have both in my junk collection so when my system arrives I'll see what fits...

I worked or more like tried to work with Holleys first system , I cannot remember what they called it  it worked great for a week or so then the control module died . Repleed the module & it worked agan for a while , this was around 1999 .
I ended up bulding a system for a 440 RR using an SDS EfI computer , Accufab throttle body that was 1200 CFM & 1.75" tall for added hood clearance  , Victor intake predrilled for multi port  , Bosch 75 lb / hr injectors , Bosch regulator , crank trigger & while I was testing the system it fires up LOL . It was not a cheap system to build but it had its own programmer so you could adjust while driving without a laptop , the tuning was amazing you could adjust everything , jetting & timing at 250 rpm intervals , choke settings were adjustable at temp spacings , accelerator pump adjustment with vacuum drop . far more tunable than any carb . if I had the extra $$ it would already be on my car .
