I haven't but I thought I saw someone on here that did, perhaps someone will speak up. As I recall they looked pretty good.

Yea Ive seen them in a bunch of hot rods and pro touring Chevys. When recovered they look great and dimensions should work well in the ebody

Stock seats in camaro I believe:

Going to go lowback like this, these were in a nomad:

Going to have them recovered to get rid of the gto embroidery. Rear seats will be foamed, contoured and covered to match front seats, all on the stock seat frame. Should be pricey but worth it. Going to try my hardest to keep the power options on the front buckets, should be fun...

They look pretty close to my Hyundai Tiburon seats. I'd keep the headrest?  :2cents: Are they low enough to offer enough room between your legs and the steering wheel? Any floor mods required? Electric stuff is added weight and something else to screw up?

Those look very good in that Ebody; dare I say "at home".... I am using Neon SRT-4 seats and the basic design of the seats you show and SRT-4/Viper seats are very close with the side bolsters.

I recently looked at seats from a 2013 C250 MB Coupe, they closely matched the outline of the E Body seat but offered good lateral support, the local wreckers wanted $1000 for a pair, dropped that idea pretty quickly. So because I like the shape/outline of the E Body seats and to avoid having to have an engineering certificate done (its an Aussie BS thing) because Ive changed the seats, Im looking at buying a set of front seat covers and the seam that runs down either side of the base and back, have an upholsterer insert a piece or pieces to create an area for hard foam to build the lateral support for a more modern looking seat. As i need to re-foam the seat due to it breaking down they can add the support to the new foam base and back, should look as it was meant to be there.

I'm in the air with the headrest, I never seem to use them  :dunno: They measure 2" higher than stock ebody seats by the steering wheel. May need to trim down the foam. If they end up requiring floor mods I'm getting rid of them, I got them for $75 so I should have no problem getting rid of them. Ebay is crazy on these seats. I'm going to try my hardest to keep the power options. Seems easy enough but if they cause trouble/need the space because the box is on the bottom, I'll guy the power option. We'll see, going after it this winter.

How did your tiburon seats fit? Custom brackets?

I think the 2" higher will be a problem. :2cents: Yes I had to make custom brackets .

I test fit the seat this weekend, as is without gutting the power option, my head almost hit the roof and I'm 5'8. So I removed the brackets and the sliding power motor, now it's almost the exact height as a stock seat. Here is a picture side by side:

The stock seat has the brackets removed and so does the gto seat. They are now within 1/2" of eachother, much better. I'm going to fab something up that will allow me to attach the stock ebody brackets to the bottom of the gto seats. We'll see...

Got a chance to fit the driver seat. Was able to bolt the stock tracks to the metal frame on the bottom the gto seats so no custom brackets were needed. Plenty of head room and thigh room near the steering wheel.
