Sorry, wLc, I didn't mean to hijack the thread, but I think you should be prepared for a car in the same condition or worse.  Again, anything can be fixed given enough time and money.  Even if it is this bad, it's still worth something so I don't expect the guy to give it you, but $1000 might be a little steep.

A110235, be sure to keep us posted on your progress.  I would like to see the repair process on this one!

Hey guys it's not really a thread hijack because it's relevant to the thread. Anyway I now have the Chally at the house and I took some more pics. It's not as bad as you would think.
Trunk
The trunk floors are very solid just a few rust holes, suface rust and 3 unopened Bud-Lights.

LH Floorpan
The rear floorpan is gone. The front seems okay.

RH Floorpan
Some holes in the front. the rear seems okay.

RH Quarter Between Tire And Door
I think it can be patched.

Rear Window
The entire rear window rail will need to be replaced.

LH Fender
It might can be patched.

Well there it is. The quarters are solid except for the RH between the door and tire. Everything else appears to be surface rust. What do you guys think?

Not as bad as I expected.  Are the interior pieces still there (gauges, console, etc).  I think you definately have a shell to start with.

Were you able to haggle the price any?  What's the story on this car?  Why was the drivetrain removed and the car abandoned?  How long had it been sitting? Looks like someone had primered it in a few places.

Another E-body saved!

All the gauges are there as well as the console (no lid). Seems the owner had traded a Barracuda for the Challenger and was going to fix it up but never got around to it. It has probably been sitting there for almost 10 years.

I thought about doing that but since it was so hot today I decided to just chug them. They weren't that bad but afterwards I starting seeing all kinds of colors that weren't supposed to be there and all I could hear was the drum solo from Inna-Gadda-Da-Vidda. I'm better now but I don't have any feeling in my left side. :dontknow:
