Set TDC , rotor still pointing between #2 and #1 cylinders.Will pull distributor to check if drive gear slot is parallel to crankshaft per FSM. I do remember the orientation of the new Accel rotor and shaft did not match the old orientation.Will check the degrees difference.http://s1302.photobucket.com/user/73440/slideshow/Electronic%20IgnitionWith the drive gear off slightly, it's not parallel with crank at TDC, and new different shaft and rotor orientation, to me looks like either move the drive gear a tooth or so , or move the wires clockwise on the cap to compensate.
