OK, I'll ask. Why Barney? Was the last one Fred?

David,

He is an annoying dinosaur from a kids show. He's purple...He sings, I love you, you love me.... Anyway, he was the first purple character that I could think of.

Kids shows have changed a lot since we grew up with Fred and Barney.    :grinyes:

In 2010 I went to the dealer with the intention of buying a PCP RT 6 spd; took a little while to locate one but finally found one on the other side of the state and I bought it. I love it and it never fails to get comments. I used my "Mopar bucks" to get a lowering kit, CAI and strut brace, removed the rear muffler/resonators, painted the inside of the wheels, installed a Mr Norms pistol grip handle, installed hood supports and used a Diablo Intune to tune it. This car is a blast to drive and I love it, drove it to the Nationals last year and the MATS several years ago.
Current Mopar
70 Challenger RT 440-6 EFI, 73 Cuda 416-6 EFI
05 Hemi Durango, 01 Ram 4x4, 14 Ram 2500 4X4, 10 PCP Challenger 6 spd RT, 01 Viper GTS ACR, 52 B3B w/330 Desoto Hemi, 70 Hemi RR (under const)
Past Mopars
9 x Challengers. AAR Cuda, 4 RR, 2 GTX, 4 Chargers, etc... (too many to list)

Dave,

Thanks for chiming in. It stinks that I don't have a garage, but I don't notice it rusting just yet.  :eek7:

It hasn't been bad driving it in the snow, but my tires have 1200 miles on them, so plenty of tread. I've always owned a rear wheel drive car, so I know it's limitations. So I want to ask if you have all-season tires, or the 3 season tires that they are putting on upper end Challengers now? The reason I ask, is because the 3-season don't last long, and the rubber is pretty much useless when it gets down to freezing. Who's great idea was that?   :o

I'm thinking that this might be my forever car. I have white stripes to install, and that will match the white interior. I have several items to install under the hood. I can't wait to show this car at Carlisle this year....But, I will post pics of what I have done in case you don't make it out.

 :pullinghair: mike,i posted in the past that i was running the factory f-1 goodyear p245/40/20's that came on it.dang they were toast after 14,00 miles i now have around 20,000 miles and they are like slicks.  :banghead: went to goodyear and no warranty on f-1 tires.got caught a couple times here in barly any snow and forget ti,your not going anywhere even when new.may try some periles(speel check) next, been reading up on tires, chryco i think, was running them or something similar.i know they make a very agressive tire for winter for these but, dang,i ain't driving mine i the winter.a dude bought a brand new camaro where i work and he he a set of tire, can't remember the brand installed before he took delivery.i thought he's nuts brand new 2016 and taking it out in minnesota winters, seen to many stangs, challys and camaro's with guys riding em in the winter, next thing piled up in the guard rails the next day. nope.  not me.......................................

gonna out some magna flows on mine in the spring, dioblo chip, cold air intake, that should waken her up big time.priced some pro chargers recently, that may be after my warramty runs out...
