Dave,

I like your plans. I just sold a Diablo tuner for my 2013 cheap because it wasn't compatible with my 2016. Dang. I could have given you a great deal.   :pullinghair:

Sooo, you do know about 4 cylinders of your engine kicking out after you get up to cruising speed, right? So suddenly the great sounding engine with the aftermarket exhaust sounds like a school bus. I believe the Diablo tuner has a way for you to disable the cylinders shutting down, if you care about the sound.

Dave.

If you are coming to me for advice, you must be in trouble.

I just know this from Challengertalk dot com, don't take off the resonators. It will sound great, but somewhere around 50-60 MPH you will have a terrible drone.

Corsa seems to be the system most recommended, but it's pricey.

If you are looking to do this cheaply, others say remove the mufflers.

Now, you will crawl under your car and say "where are my mufflers"? Those are actually in front of the resonators. They look the same, but....

I removed the rear ones (whichever ones they are); it sounds great. I have driven this car on numerous 2000 mile trips without issue. Sound isn't an issue.

Beautiful car, lots of luck with it.
My fav color too.

And about the ordering, I ordered 3 cars
in my lifetime all new of course.
My first car, a 69 firebird, my next a 71 chally
with an electric sunroof, my third a 77 cordoba,
which had a manual crank sunroof.
Pretty strange that 6 years later, and "upgrading"
from dodge to chrysler, the chrysler didn't come
with the elec sunroof.

But re the ordering- the 2-3 month build/ship time
drove me crazy, seemed like years. And the daily calls
to the dealer after the first 6 weeks of waiting.
Oh, but when that call finally came, lol.

Engine bay upgrades... I installed an oil catch can for the first time in any of my cars(to the left of my window washer cap). Then we have purple accents, a cold air intake filter, and a strut tower brace.

Mike,

No, I haven't. It only has less than 2500 miles on it at this point, so I don't know when to push it to it's limits. There was a guy on Youtube that posted a video of him touching 140 MPH at 6500 RPM's with this engine, so that is crazy for a stock 6-cylinder.

Wondering if you pick up a spare blue one and dip it in food colouring? Save it for the shows so it doesn't fade.

So yesterday I slapped on the vinyl side stripes, and windshield graphics. I also installed a carbon-fiber/chrome shifter plate.
