Love the T/A Challengers. But I'm not a stock restoration kind of guy, so I just bought the T/A hood and spoiler for my '72.

Since I have so many other things going on, I don't plan a full-blown resto right away. I'm going to get the major cosmetics attended to, then maybe drive it a little! First order of business is the wacked out front end. Grille, valance & bumper are off. I reworked a used 70 lower core support, but am not happy with the NY rust on it, so I've ordered a new one from Dynacorn. It appeared to have the correct holes for 70 compared to AMD. Naturally, I'll post up pics as I progress. Here are a couple shots of some nice, creative bodywork.

The original latch tray support was chopped off and a fancy extender was welded on, then screwed to the core support. Anybody else ever see aluminum tranny lines?

 I was a member of Siac too , I did have the decal still but it was back in Canada so I would bet it is now gone , I guess I should have just stuck in on the car at least I still have the car LOL .

Yeah, well, we moved again (to Asheboro...PM me for the address), moved 35 years worth of parts, I got a promotion at work, then knocked back to the old job by corporate, I've been jumping through flaming hoops to get a title for the cuda, etc., etc., so I've been a little busy...LOL. The new house has a lot of beautiful oak trees, so there's the epic leaf collection going on currently as well.

I thought Robertson head screws was only a Canadian thing? If so how did they get down there?

Unless I missed something, I only see one correct machine screw that is correct for the bezels, 2nd from the right. Looks like one of the owners parked the thing via the braille method. You have a nice project on hand there.

Well Brad, the car was sold new in Ontario, then sold again as a used car in Manitoba(?). I never knew they were called Robertson heads. I see the square socket commonly used for deck screws.

Word has it that the car was driven up onto a curb or curb block. Maybe there was confusion when the car had 3 pedals.
