    Hi everyone,

    I'm in the process of buying a 1970 Plum Crazy Challenger from Pedal To The Metal shop in Netherlands. It seems to be in a good condition, but I will know for sure when I get it and start taking things apart with my mechanic.  :clueless:

    The plan is to start doing lots of upgrades and go down the resto-mod route: suspension, brakes, air-con, steering, chassis, wheels/tires, interior etc. I have just started to browse this forum and have gazillion of questions so expect me to harass anyone with the knowledge and the will to share info.  :thumbsup:

    Oh yeah, one thing I forgot: I'd like to get to know European Mopar owners, especially if they live in a few-hours-drive-range...

    Really? Have you ever visited Split?

    I live about 400 km to the north in the city of Rijeka (Croatia's largest sea port). Not so sunny as in Split, but still on the Adriatic coast.  :bigshades:

    Will post pictures after I get the car over here, it's still in Holland.

    Never been to Split. My only trip to Europe was to Germany courtesy of the U.S. army. My friend goes back to his home in Split every year and will go back to live when he retires.

    Yeah, color is nice, but I'll have to repaint it. It has chips and cracks in a few places. If I stand 2 m away everything looks nice...  :naughty:

    Nice car! Mine is like that also, looks great from a distance, but has many small imperfections. Plum Crazy also. Gonna repaint mine later,  what color will you paint yours in? I'm thinking black or burnt orange for mine.

    Well, if it was any other color I'd go for gunmetal grey, but since this is plum crazy I will never change the color. I was looking for hemi orange or plum crazy, but I would've settled with any other color and then repaint it.

    Does anyone know if the plum crazy for the new Challenger is exactly the same as the '70s color?
