1970 Plymouth Barracuda Gran Coupe Project [SOLD]
« on: November 29, 2015 - 12:15:18 AM »
Car has been sold on Ebay. Thanks.

1970 Plymouth Barracuda Gran Coupe.
Originally a 318 automatic

I purchased this car from PA with the intent of restoring it but I have to many projects at the moment. The car sat in a garage for over 20 years. The owner passed away while attempting to restore it. I ended up buying the car from his son. This is a complete project car.  It is a roller. It will need just about all the sheet metal. The floor boards are good except some minor pin holes. Roof is good. Fenders are in OK shape, one has a dent.  Quarters Panels, Truck floor, Truck Lid, inner fenders, etc will need to be replaced. The best thing about this car is the undercarriage is SOLID. The only thing needed is a drivers side rear frame rail which is not that hard to fix. The rest of the undercarriage is solid. The firewall is rust free. What you see is basically what you get. The 318 will be set back in the car. This is perfect for a clone or restomod. All parts needed to restore this car are available through Year One and AMD. No lowballers or tire kickers. Here is your chance to build your own Cuda however you want it.  The cars in the background are not for sale. If you would like to know anything please feel free to give a call. The car is located in Amsterdam, NY. Thank you. Larry 518-842-8587

Sent you a PM

I would suggest calling them directly. whenever a new user (under 5 or 10 posts) posts to Sell, it's always best to call because they may not be back to the site (may just use it for free advertising).

Well said.  Does seem to be the way it works.

But, what is the fender tag readout please?  I see there is no fender tag on the car.  Do you still have it.

Replied to PMs , sorry for the delay. The car is on ebay and currently at $6501 the reserve is off. Im throwing in a few extra items with the car which is listed in the bottom of the auction. I'm basically trying to get the most I can now. Someone offered me $8000 to take off eBay but they still haven't sent a deposit so it's still on ebay. I do have the fender tag. If someone is serious in paying more than ebay is at send me a PM and I will give you the fender tag readout. Thank you. I am a frequent visitor to this forum,  I just don't post a lot. I have gotten a lot of great information here. This is a very helpful forum!!

And there is no fender tag listed on the ebay add.

Some of us won't even consider the car without the fender tag info.

Here is the fender tag. It matches the VIN.

Ahh, man.  Burnt Tan Metallic with a saddle tan interior. Gran coupe at that.  Now that is a stunning combination in my opinion.
thanks for posting that up.  This is a car that I would consider just because of the color combination.

I'm sure it will help other peoples opinions as well.
