Anyone using Summit Racing's 6 quart big block oil pan?

Are all the repop big block 6 quart "Hemi" oil pans the same?

Summit Racing has theirs on sale for under $86 bucks.
Anyone using one?
How is the quality?

  I was planning on ordering the Mancini hemi pan and 3/8 pickup tomorrow for my 512 but it's $170, this looks to be the same pan but a heck of a lot cheaper?

Go with a high pressure oil pump and not the high volume oil pump as well.

Interesting you would say that...I had a 440 built 20 plus years ago by a very reputable local Mopar engine builder.

He insisted on also using a high pressure oil pump instead of high volume.

Many other Mopar engine builders suggest the high volume but my original builder stands by his high pressure pumps....why?

Well I went ahead and ordered the oil pan and pickup.

Swapping out the current old school deep Moroso pan as the car is getting turned into a nice, mild street driver.

This is an interesting build as it's for the wifegod's car and she's PAYING FOR EVERYTHING

I should be spending money like there's no tomorrow and not worry about finding parts on sale but I'm really trying to get her car done on a budget because she has been so supportive.

I think I have the camshaft picked out now for rear gear ratio.....

Curious also, I was planning on buying a melling high volume for my 512..

I Only use the HP pumps Not the HV pumps , on a long pull at high rpm you can empty the oilpan , the normal volume is enough

Because Mopar really never built a great engineered oiling system to begin with.
Typically they take longer to get oil pressure up than other makes is what I've read before.

High pressure keeps bearings loaded, not high volume.
