the QC4v Crate Engine is only @ $68K ..... without ECU, turbos or wiring harness .... but it makes 1650 HP

Meh.  . A lot of money involved for sure. But the front grille looks like a ford Torino, the rear tail lights were a downgrade, and that Chevy hood!    The drivetrain is trick, but there's not enough traction to matter, so what's the point?  To me it's just another show car.

I'm a newbie to the forum, my brother and I just bought a 73 Challenger 440 RT clone.
This is the car I built, 1968 Dodge Charger with 2001 Viper V10 / 6 speed tremec with 525 usable HP.

I've actually got my eye on a 71 Challenger now. Considering the same build to the 71 as I did to the Charger, Complete restomod, Reilly suspension, Viper motor, tremec tranny, custom interior. But I would sell it when I was finished, same quality as the Charger.

We are keeping the 73 as is, my brother wants to keep it as stock as possible, if you can call a 73 RT 440 clone stock.

Just curious, what does a complete , fully dressed viper motor weigh?

Hey Brads70, I can't remember the exact number, I have it in my records somewhere because I did weigh the one in my Charger, but as an all aluminum motor and tranny, i remember it was lighter then a 440 or 426. The motor in my Charger came out of a 2001 ACR car.
