valve covers for 512
« on: December 04, 2015 - 11:42:14 AM »
Might be a stupid question but here it goes....I'm looking for aluminum fabricated valve covers for my 512 and I've come across long bolt style, didn't know those existed. Running stealth heads with comp pro magnum 1.5 rockers, rt hood. Should I use this style and if so, do I need anything else because of it?

Dave,

I bought the fabricated aluminum valve covers from Mancini. They bolted right up, no headaches.

Long bolt will work well if the angle of the bolts is perfect , at least the stealth heads are milled completely flat so they will seal well  , stock heads are nt even close to flat & will cause problems sealing
