It thought it looked like it might have been in a fire.   :fire:

It really looks like a great project after and I bet when you get it back from the media blaster you are going to be amazed.

Looks like you've got a (another) great Challenger project! Good luck with it!

TFN- Speaking of Chally verts, what happened to that second JS29U you were going to look at?

Yes the metal is still very solid and not warped badly at all. The pics are a big shock but you ahve to look behond all that surface rust and burnt up crap in there.

Just messing with you Nick. This car could be something. What engine does it have? A 71 Big-block is rare.

So Nick, where does the rebuilt motor and tranny fit in?  Was it rebuilt before the fire?  Does that still count?

I see... well, you should ask this guy about it again. Can't let 74chall get all the good project cars, right? Besides, if you wanted to pass on it, I'd be interested... ;D

Project cars are out there. you have to just look for them and be willing to pay.
Got a lot of work done today. No fooling around with this car. Got the interior and crap out , Broke down most all rust on the out side, another day with a DA and 80 grit on it ,then some ospho to treat the metal and 80 grit again . Then epoxy. I booted my 68 road runner out so the vert is protected. This vert is so clean i cannot believe it. its all orgional except for lower quater skins. No rot whatsoever.   :eekbig:
