I apologize if I'm jumping the subject a little but I'll be looking for a good suspension setup as well in the near future and I've noticed people seem to like the ESPO springs a lot. I'm lookiing for a street/drag setup and not sure if a good set of springs will work okay or if I should get some traction bars too. Dr Diff said caltracs would be good, but I'd have to notch them some since I'm running a b body dana rear end. I'm just looking to run 11.5ish at the track (no cage) so I'd like a good balance of street and performance if possible. I'll be putting a 28x12x15 tire on the back, just trying to figure out what rear suspension people like.

Thanks for your time, and loving the pics, stances look good.

Kris

T/A springs are arched a bit higher than stock. T/As all have 8-3/4 rears, but that has nothing to do with springs. Any E-body spring will fit in any E-body. Your ESPO person was having an off day.

Would the T/A springs be arched higher because of the side exit exhaust needing more ground clearances?

:grinyes:  And it was the only production car that came with different size front and rear tires off the line.   :2thumbs:

Does anyone have a pic with the 2" + Espo springs?  I'm looking for maximum height and want to eliminate these stupid air shocks.  Will adding 71-73 Imperial shocks also add additional height in conjuction with the springs?  I want it to look like an old Super Stocker.

Thanks.

Any rubbing issues on the rear?  How does it launch, like a super stock Spring?

I did rub with the 5.5" bs, so I installed the 1/2" spacers and no rubbing now.  The only other option from Weld was 4.5 bs and I was afraid that would have been too close to the qtr panel.  It launches so much better now, but I am not sure how old my other springs were so hard to compare the difference with new stock springs with the +1".

Cool thanks,  just want to eliminate air shocks but want to run a 12" tire on 4" bs.  Probably need +2, or +3".
