My combo once it's done and ready I will be running a 69 1/2 dana b-body rear end (4.10s) on my 71 dodge challenger. I bought the dr diff offset springs and shackles (1" I think, I'd have to check to confirm) and I will be buying his disc brake combo as well. Dr diff told me I can run a 15x10 (5.5 backspacing) wheel with a 28x12R15 MT S/R (Sounds like he knew quite a few others running this combo because he was quick to suggest it and sounded very knowledgeable). So my question is, is anyone else running this combo, if so pics please. And what springs would you suggest +1/+2 espo or something else? My car will be a street/track car, so I would like a setup that should do decent at the track but not kill me during street driving lol.

My combo is almost identical. '67 8.75 B body rear, 1" offset kit. 15x10 wheels with 5" backspace (66-67 rears are narrower than 68-70 so I need less backspace), and 26x12 MT SRs. Where we differ is I am using mopar zero arch oval track springs, so you could say my leaves are set up as -2. 28x12 would fit just fine, IMO.

Thanks HP2 for the pic and info. I hate buying stuff just to see parts not fit, and I'm not wanting to hack up my car to get them to fit, nope nope. I wouldn't mind having a 66-67 b-body rear end instead but I couldn't pass up the dana 60 I found locally. I haven't bought springs for it yet, I'm just trying to find suggestions on what springs are best for drag racing/street use. Seems like lots like these espo springs, I'm also looking at caltracs and their mono leaf springs as well. I have been told I would have to do some modifying if I went with the caltracs though.

Espo makes a good spring and I've heard a lot of good feedback from them.  A reproduction of the factory XHD design would be a good street/strip spring. They can provide these. As far as height, that's kind of personal preference and how much rake you want the car to have with your desired tire combo. Mopar recommended a 3-4* rake for a drag car. That would translate to about a 1.5-2" diameter difference between front and rear tires. Plus, we can fine tune front height with the t-bar adjusters. Great thing about that is if you decide to change the rollout on the front tires based on you r.t. on the tree, you can tweak the ride height up or down easily to retain the rake.

Cal-trac set up should bolt in and could take maybe 20# total off the car. They do have bit more adjustment than the stock stuff, but aren't the end all be all of dual purpose driving. Street tire will limit you long before the suspension does.

Cool thanks for the info. Yeah I plan on running drag radials or slicks at the track and have an extra set of wheels/tires for track only. Appreciate the info the more info the better!

apologies for the delay, I dont installed yet. In the easter I think that I can install it with my friend help
