Sorry I don't understand.... If your doing a 100% stock resto I can see the point of Polyglas Tires they have the right "look"... But for a car that you actually drive there are better riding, better handling tires for half the cost....

I agree, that's why I had to change them out.  Never cared much for radials, even though they are technically better with ride and handling.  I don't drive it everyday so it's ok with me.  Expensive setup, but worth it to me.  Classic Industries is great and they are one of the few places that has the E60-15 in stock for shipment... no wait time to get from Kelsey like other suppliers.

Radials don't look right on these cars to me... I'm picky about it that's all.  It's not a canyon carver, it's never going to be.

I have to agree as well. Polyglas look terrific on these cars with their lettering and square shoulders. Back in the 70's I ran them on mags as well. I don't like driving on them though if the road is rutted at all.

What are your alignment numbers? If you had a good radial alignment, the Polyglas tires won't like it and will first protest loudly and then wear poorly. Might feel like wrestling match behind the wheel too.

Car will need aligned once I get them on and get the height right in the front.  This is the 4th set of wheels and tires I've had on it in a year.  I had NOS Polyglas GT's on one of those sets, they track hard in ruts.  Still better than the last set of Mickey Thompson's that were really bouncy and not made for street driving.  My radials ride good that I have on the two other set's of wheels I still have, although I wanted to keep this look a more early 70's street machine look for it.  I'm sure the new rubber Polyglas is much better than riding around on 40 year old tires.  I just couldn't trust prolonged driving on them.  Heck even my radial tires are at least 7 years old which isn't good.

You probably will want to stick with the stock specs for the alignment guys. Radials will tolerate a much wider range of angles in the alignment process before they start to wear poorly. This is why they are able to produce more grip - you can  use more aggressive angles with them.  The Polyglas' will be most happy with the OEM set up.

They will look nice though.
