Aftermarket rad with shroud for mechanical fan

 Is there such a thing as a direct fit? I see lots useing electric fans but nothing that uses a shroud and mechanical. 
I'm tired of trying to get electric fans to work the way I want them, I went back to my clutch fan and love it but I have a makeshift shroud.

Looking for ideas, suggestions and pics for a traditional shroud on a 26" alum cross-flow rad with mounting tabs on top and bottom.  My fan is the OEM 18 1/2" 7 blade.  I could fab up an aluminum shroud but like the black one if it is possible.  Anyone do this?

I bought a two row alum radiator that generally fit in the space in front of my engine.
Used 1 inch by 1/8 inch aluminum to make necessary brackets (bought 4 ft lenghts from Home Depot)
Used stock shroud from a 26 inch Mopar radiator, and mounted with homemade brackets.
Put 16 inch $100 electric Summit fan inside shroud on radiator.
None of the measurements have to be precise, as making brackets
and mounting everything is really simple. Improvise.
Just have to make sure the fan you buy will fit between radiator and water pump.
In my case, a 3.5 inch deep fan fit with about 3/8 inch to spare.

72 Cuda, owned 25 years. 496, with ported Stage VI heads, .625 in solid roller, 254/258 at .050, 3500 stall, 3.91 rear. 850 Holley DP, Reverse manual valve body.

1999 Trans Am, LS1, heads, cam, headers, stall, etc! Love to surprise the rice rockets with this one. They seem so confident, then it's "what the heck just happened?"

Thanks Bob.  The kicker is I'm using the 18 1/2" engine fan, so the open shroud measurement and position has to be precise.

I just made my own out of aluminum. I'm using a smaller fan so I was able to cut out the center hole without getting into the top and bottom flanges. If I end up needing a larger fan, I'll have to try and make a more complex shroud.

I have a 26" champion 3 core radiator and used. Stock Mopar fan shroud. I used offset 1/4" cage nuts to mount the shroud onto the thin flange on the sides of the radiator. It's a tedious job for one person to get everything to line up, but after a little fiddling it turned out great. I never got to drive the Cuda the way I invisioned because it would get too hot with those cheap electric fans. Now I can hammer it and it stays at 185-200 in traffic. If I'm instantly moving it never get above 185.

I got Champion 3 core 26" rad, stock fan and clutch. All bolt right up (provided that you have stock engine mount brackets, Schumachers rise the engine and the fan hits the shroud).
