Any suggestions on how to straigthen Elastromaic Bumpers?

I just noticed my Elastromaic Bumper on the back of my Barracuda project is not really straight. Any suggestions on how to fix these?

Is it that it doesn't parallel the tail panel edge?  We had to pound our's with a sledge to make it line up nicely.  Had it off the car, suspended both ends on blocks of wood and put a piece of wood over where we were hitting it.  It took some time to persuade it.  Hopefully it's not painted yet.

Thanks for the reply.
That is what I figured had to be done. It's on old version, probably original.
The back bumper was bumped on the passenger side. It was not enough for me to notice too much when I was buying the car, just pushed in around the Bumper Guard. It does have 20 year old paint on it, but I can paint it.
