Convertible Top Relay Kit - plug and play
« on: December 15, 2015 - 05:29:48 PM »
I have started putting together convertible top relay kits. They work on the same basis as a headlight relay kit, removing electrical load from the stock wiring, relay and switch.  Those up/down switches for a vert top car aren't cheap!

NO CUTTING REQUIRED!

It's a pretty stealthy kit.  I use a shrink tubed 12 ga, 30 amp fused line to Tyco/Bosch relays which are secured to the driver side of your pump housing mount bracket. A flat 2 way connector taps into the existing mopar harness. I don't use any low cost relays, ever.

Cost for a kit is $75 plus shipping.  US shipping is usually about 10-15.  Shipping to Canada would be in the $25 range, maybe less depending on box size.  International buyers are welcome.  Same as with the headlight relay kits, package discount apply to multiple purchases at one time along with prior customer loyalty discounts.

Shipping from Indio, CA

That looks like a very professionally done kit at a very fair price.   :2thumbs:   Taking the load off of the switch and using a relay is the best thing you can do.  Now, if I just had a vert.   :walkaway:                       :rebel:

Rob, you need to do a kit for power windows..... Obviously install would be a little more involved but I know it would sell, I've tried telling many guys how to do it themselves but mostly I get blank stares....  Power windows rarely work good without allot of tinkering but add relays & suddenly they come to life....

I can relate to the "blank stare" when trying to esplain how relays work.   :smilielol:   :roflsmiley:    :rebel:

Have kits ready to ship.   Can deliver to Spring Fling in Van Nuys this month to save on shipping.

I bought and installed both the headlight kit and the convertible top kit. Excellent products.
