74 disc setup on a 70 Cuda

I just purchased an entire front suspension from a 74 Cuda.
It has a stock Disc Brake setup on it.
Should I rebuild this and put it on my 70 Barracuda or should I buy a new setup?
If new, which setup would be recommended?
If rebuild is suggested, any suggestions on what to do with the Calipers?

You can get remanufactured calipers for the 1974 set-up as close as your closest Auto Parts store. They're reasonably priced maybe $30 each.

You can get hoses, pads, bearings, dust shields...everything you need, Why would you want to spend big bucks on an aftermarket system ?

So just use the spindles and bearings and get new Calipers and Rotors?

Yup...rotors are pretty cheap too...Like $40 each at RockAuto

Try shipping it on Greyhound. Better prices for smaller, heavier boxes than traditional shipping methods.

FYI....spindles for a '70 are different than a '74 so be specific when ordering rotors, etc.

YES...different bearing size, different rotors etc...

I did just that. I used the entire front brake setup from a '74. It just bolted right on. I now have Wilwood disc all around. I just think it looks better thru the Billet Specialties I'm using.

Thanks for responding. I looked on Rock Auto and I think I can get everything I need. I will use the spindle and the and backing plate and mounting brackets and will order the rest.
I have Drums on the front now. Will I need to change the Master Cylinder?

Yes...If you look at your drum master cylinder it has two equal chambers because all four wheel cylinders are roughly the same size.
A disc brake master cylinder has one large and one small chamber because the disc brake pistons are a lot larger and require more fluid movement.

Also need to change proportioning valve.
Factory one or adjustable aftermarket one.

Also the master for drums will have a residual pressure valve which can cause the disc brakes to drag
