Cuda Exhaust with a triangulated 4 link - anyone make one

I am searching for a source for an exhaust system for my Cuda (headers to tips). I am running a 416 stroker and a 4 speed with TTI headers and will be "trying" to route it through the rear valance. Anyone done this or seen anyone making a system? I am thinking of ordering a generic kit from MF or someone then build it myself (I worked in exhaust for while previously and have built systems using kits before).

On the same subject, I am thinking of using 2.5" instead of 3" as I am not sure I need it and don't want to give up the ground clearance, plus it is pretty tight in the rear with the triangulated 4 link.

Any suggestion/comments would be appreciated.

  Depending on the four link TTI makes nice kits and if it similar to RMS street lynx it should fit fine

No, I designed and made it myself from parts I purchased from Art Morrison (they are local). Basically I bought a generic triangulated 4 link system and then used the components to make it work. When I did this, there were not many if any kits for an E body 4 link set up.

with A LOT OF WORK you could probably get a 3" set of pipes in there, even still, a set of 2 1/2'' will be tight, I would be going up between the diff center and the top link then over just inside the coil spring following a similar path to the factory pipes.
I have a Magnaflow system and I though I had the verticle rise from the mufler clearanced enough, the diff housing still just strikes it on a full compression, from the muffler make a good tight bend and take it stright up, 90* to the ground as high as you can before bending over the housing to the rear. I think if you got some 90* bends you could manage it, Im going to do more work on mine one day to get it right.

Fortunately in my misspent youth I worked at an exhaust place so I have a concept of what I am doing with regards to it. I am going with 2 1/2 all the way, I think 3" is just going to be too big and remove any room I have. With the coil overs and the 4 link, the rear axle cannot hit the frame at full compression, so I might even snake out the side but we will see. I'd love to buy an exhaust pipe bender but space is being reduced in the shop.

For custom applications I buy stainless mandrel bends and make my own.

I don't have any experience welding stainless, but I guess this is a good time to learn.
