New from OHIO 1970 CUDA
« on: December 27, 2015 - 10:26:44 AM »
All new to MOPARS. My father-in-law is a die hard MOPAR fan and it didn't take long for me to turn to the MOPAR side. Im working with a 1970 Cuda 383 with a 727 trans. I love the pro-touring cars and plan to make mine more of a Pro-Driver. A few suspension upgrades along with brakes and wheels. The forum has answered a ton of my questions already. Heres what Im working with.

Welcome from CO!  I've heard of OEM, day-2, resto-mod, and pro-tour but not "pro-driver".  Is it just minor modern upgrades to engine/brakes/suspension?   :clueless: :dunno:

I like the pro touring cars and after driving in a few I realized this is not the route I want to take with this car. It will be a nice daily driver/ hot rod thats updated in the pro touring manner but not to the extreme. Wildwood brakes, Hotchiks TVS, Firm Feel steering box and the new Holley Sniper EFI and either a 17/18 or 18/18 wheel combo. No motor upgrades besides the EFI.

Basically what is referred to as a "resto-mod"  :2cents:
