« on: December 28, 2015 - 09:02:57 AM »
Hi,

I need a trunk lid torsion rod (one) for my 72 'cuda. Approximate length of the rod should be around 42.5". Please send me a PM or email to lynch_road@oh.rr.com. My shipping zip code is 44012.

Thanks!

Thanks please let me know. I don't know that it is. I "think" the Challengers may have had longer ones depending on year. I just got a 72 parts book last night off eBay. I was going to check the part numbers for 'cuda and Challenger.

I finally had time to get some pictures of the trunk rod. which was still in  the car.  It measures 48 1/2 inches total length.  Let me know if you need more pictures.

Thanks for checking! 'cuda and Challenger are different. I need one that's around 42.5". I have two rods the same length as what you show in your pic, I had bought them thinking both models took the same rod which they don't.  :-\
