4C,
I knew about the week long event that the DreamCruise has become. We were planning on catching a day or two at the Nats and then drive up to the DreamCruise on Sunday and stay for that entire week.
Now I think we're going to fly in on Thursday 8/18 and leave on Sunday 8/21.

JS27N0B,
You are right on time..
Since you offered, I do need a wiring diagram. I need a diagram of the engine wiring harness.

BTW, How did drinking water affect two Hemis?  Someone put water in the tanks?

I'll be making air/hotel/car reservations in the next day or so. I was told the Troy area is a good area to stay in. Do you have any suggestions?

Sorry wouldn't take the whole list so I had to cut it back.

Basically tell me exactly what you are after and I can e-mail it to you.

Update..
Things are going a little slow with the 5.7 Hemi Dart Project. I'm waiting for parts to become available.
TTI told me a week or so ago that the engine mounts are in the welding shop. The headers are about 4-5 weeks away.
I spoke with Mopar Performance at the Carlisle show. They will have the 5.7 Hemi intake manifold, computer, wiring harness and other parts available in about 30 days.

I did get the power steering swapped out for the manual steering (16:1 ratio). I have a friend welding in some frame connectors this week. It will also be getting the new-style brake master cylinder (aluminum and plastic) this week.

Stay tuned !!

 Good news Bob, I was a bit disapointed when you said at Carlisle that the project had come to a basic halt because of the parts not being available, but sounds like in the next couple weeks progress will once again be on it's way. Thanks for the update.

Thanks for the update!!

After driving a couple of SRT8's I can't wait to see if the 6.1L gets into the program, those cars are rockets!! MT test was 13.2@108mph. I can see a lot of vintage muscle cowering with numbers like that being posted by a new 300.

Yeah, I really hope MP starts making crate engines out of it too. The 6.1 is amazing, I read that GSM made 500 RWHP with 6.4 lbs of boost. If it werent for the high compression, they could have run more boost and probably hit at least 550 RWHP. I also saw that one guy ran a 12.99 with a stock SRT8 300.....simply amazing cars......

6pak2go,
Yes, I will be using MPI. I want to use the Mopar Performance intake and Throttle Body because it looks way better than the stock intake, and it doesn't use the stock drive-by-wire throttle system. All of their parts should be plug & play without mixing and matching any stock parts.

WSM,
I'm not too worried about the parts being slow because their plenty other things to do to prepare the car for the swap. I'm currently spraying the valve covers Wrinkle Black just like the 426 Hemi. It's going to look like a "baby" 426 Hemi engine when I'm done.

JS27N0B,
I like what I've reading about the 6.1 engine. But it sounds like those engines are not going to be available for awhile as they will be low production in SRT8 vehicles. It would be hard to get one for a swap project. Since the heads are a lot better than the ones on the 5.7 engine, I'd like to see Mopar Performance offer them.
