Great info kiss alien, thanks.   This car has been tucked away for about 20 years , and unfortunately re painted white long ago , I fully intend to restore to original . Finances will dictate pace , so it may take longer than I'd like .  I'd like to get in your registry after I get it home and fully assesed

How much value does the v9j butt stripe add to the car vs. a more common stripe color or no stripe ?   I guess it doesn't  really matter cause I really like it . Just curious

1) There is no way to know how many cars came in this color combination because Chrysler didn't track stripe colors.
2) I currently have 9 FF4/V9J cars in my records. Several are 340 cars so it's possible I know of this one already and it would be included in those numbers.
3) V9J is not chartreuse it is Sublime. Chartreuse would be the color for a longitudinal tape stripe.
4) A66 cars came standard with bumble bee stripes. R/Ts came standard with longitudinal stripes. You could get the other stripe option at no charge if you wanted, or delete the stripe of course.

:iagree:  Mine actually came with a V98 delete and the side stripe.

Welcome aboard. Rare Challenger you have there. I just am a little surprised that the A66 could have R/T badges... :clueless:

They couldn't. Like always there could be production line errors where some cars got them since the A66 cars were not planned far in advance, but you couldn't order them that way.

Gotta correct my self , no rt badges on my car , they are the v8 badges on fender.  Sorry about that, I was going on a tiny phone picture and memory.   Although I have heard of rt badges on a66 ???   I'll post a picture of my fender tag tonight

Yes I mean as a production error, to add something instead of forgetting to install something.

Sounds rare--My A66 was a FC7 with a white gut and a white tail stripe. Very Late built July 8th. Pretty well optioned.

Thanks for posting your tags! Interesting that Nubs tag doesn't have J54 on it like JS's tag does ...

My car does have "2 scoop" hood.  I'm told its original to the car.

As it should, but it is interesting (at least to me) that your tag doesn't have J54 on it and JS's tag does. Just another one of those production line inconsistencies that Ma Mopar was famous for.
