I know the guy personally. He pulled the motor to do a full restoration with a correct numbers matching 383 that came in his car. His car is currently just a shell. He was going to keep the motor for another project but he is wanting an 87 suzuki lt500 "quadzilla" that I have. And he said he was willing to let the motor go for what I have. He has all the receipts and and info on his motor and his car is well known in the area.

He used stock mounts but they broke. That's when poly-locs were used.

Everyone I've talked to said poly locs cause a major vibration.

I use stock mounts and a Schumacher torques strap.  Best of both worlds.
Polyloks have failed in past.
72 Cuda, owned 25 years. 496, with ported Stage VI heads, .625 in solid roller, 254/258 at .050, 3500 stall, 3.91 rear. 850 Holley DP, Reverse manual valve body.

1999 Trans Am, LS1, heads, cam, headers, stall, etc! Love to surprise the rice rockets with this one. They seem so confident, then it's "what the heck just happened?"
