Wow it didn't make 67K?

Whats going on? The market is kinda crazy now, guess its like the stock market - very volatile.

Yes very surprising to me also. Does it have anything to do with the fact that its up in Canada?

Looks like thats what the market is saying that it is worth right now.  A lot of auctions in the last few weeks,  maybe that's where the buyers went?

Well, just a few thoughts if you will.  And take it with a grain of salt, no harm meant. 1. In your description you say, " You know my work ".   Well we all know your work, but everybody looking at the car on E bay doesn't know your work. 2. You stated in the ad the car was built for the purpose of resale. I think this throws up a red flag in that its a flip that corners were cut to build and make a profit. 3. And the word RARE. Yep, it is, but many people are tired of those words because everybody uses them. Think BARN FIND.  People scan these ads and many won't look for your web site. Actually I think many buyers would prefer to buy from an individual rather than a resto shop because so many shops have given the hobby a bad name . Just my   :2cents:

Anyway, good luck, it's a beautiful car .  :2thumbs:           :rebel:

I appreciate any and all constructive criticism, thank you..... :worshippy

It's obvious you don't "know my work".... :roflsmiley:
All kidding aside...a LOT of people in the market for the higher end Mopars DO know my work, they may hate it...but they know of it... :blah: :blah: :smilielol:

The main thing wrong with my car is: A - lack of documentation most notably a broadcast sheet. B- It's an automatic. C- it has the standard dash.

Now I could have changed those things out with the resto.....but that's not how I roll !

Glad ya didn't take it the wrong way.  I think the automatic hurts the most. I saw it at Carlisle, so I did get a glimpse of your work.  Second to none .   :2thumbs:

Cars that actually sell on eBay these days are either real bargains or very high demand cars. The time listed does not allow many potential buyers a chance to arrange to inspect or have a car inspected before the auction expires. Most people will not buy sight unseen and therefore wait for the auction to end and then follow up if they are really interested.
Give it a week and see what surfaces. The car has a lot going for it and should attract interest.

I agree with BS27R1B. I have noticed that most of the nicely restored cars on ebay do not sell. Mostly project cars or some higher end cars. The market seems weird these days. Maybe after the election is over and we get rid of Obama and the economy gets going again things will change.

Very nicely done AAR.

food for thought,

It was suggested to me that the economy is bad, people are hurting and therefore I should should sell it for less,,,,,, :faint:

What do you think Alan? Should you drop the price because of this???  :roflsmiley:

On a high note, You mem's that sell the odd car here and there should get a medal for putting up with the BS that goes with the territory.
This thought may not be politically correct, but is an opinion offered. It may be correct? or it may be wrong? It is not designed to appease those needing shelter from the real world.

Yeah it's tuff Plumcrazy: Did you finally get rid of yours? You seem to have the right price on a great car as well. I'm about ready to start selling my cars part by part. People just don't seem to see value when it's in front of them.

Unless you need to give your car away you need patience, patience, patience, patience, patience and the some more patience.
This isn't Alan's first rodeo. Someone will eventually figure it out and will be very happy. I believe the border issue kills it for many American buyers. I would also agree that an automatic is also a big hit to marketing these cars.
