    Which go-wing to buy?

    My car is never going to be a concours show car, the current go-wing on it is cracked lengthwise on the front leading edge, and before I make a rash decision and buy either a $200 wing and the $30 correct style bolts for it, or the pentastar- logo laiden $525 officially licensed wing,   Thought I'd get some experience-based opinions

    what kind of car? 70 takes the Go wing, 71 up the gull wing, but if your car was never offered with either it is up to what you like.

    The cheap ones are known to warp badly.. Also referred to as "Surf Boards"  The guy that originally did a top notch job of reproducing them was Fritz from First Place Auto Products (known as FPAP)   He passed away a few years ago but the company with all the molds & such was sold & they are still made... Tamaraz sells FPAP's parts, they just mark them up...

    Yes if it didn't have one to begin with I wouldn't add it either,  I figure the less of two evils is to replace the wing and not deal with the antics of being held hostage at a body shop


    Let me back up, forgot to mention what the wing is for it's a 70 cuda, replacing existing wing

    I would order it from First Place Auto Parts. I used their wing on my 71 cuda build and it was top notch quality.

    Yes I ordered one that was pre-painted. No muss no fuss, just bolt it on. Well worth the extra money. I have seen too many times one of the less expensive wings warped on cars.

    The existing one is cracked pretty good and has other hairline cracks beginning,  better off I think to discard

    72 hemi, did you have a spoiler on previously?    Did you have to re-drill the holes at all?
