« on: January 13, 2016 - 10:15:53 PM »
We have a 1970 cuda 383 4speed hard top with vinyl. Top is in great condition. Body has already had most of the metal work done. New fenders and quarters. Doors are done all lines and gaps look good.  Car comes with what we believe to be original motor. There is no Trans. All glass is good except windshield. Just a nice straight body. Asking $7,500. Make us an offer.  Located in mn. Can assist with loading. Thanks for reading and have a great day. Andy 651-328-4133

Update:

The 'Cuda has a new home in CA. The car is in great condition and was exactly as described. I was totally stoked when I found the fender tag for it (yea!).
I decoded the fender tag and it's an original FE5 with a V1X top.

Q: Not as familiar with E-bodies as B-bodies, so can anyone tell me what V5W looks like? According to Galen's book, re: V5W: Moldings-Protective Vinyl, Insert Body Side (Includes Pinstripe on ’70 Barracuda & ‘Cuda). Are these billboard graphics or something else?

Thx!

I believe they are a door bumper type molding that goes right down the middle of the body front to back

Congrats. I almost bought it also. That's awesome you got the fender tag I had a feeling it was going to be in one of the boxes. Did the engine numbers match?

The v5W stripe is a vinyl decal across the body line of the car from fenders all the way back to quarter panel. Company called performance car graphics sells the vinyl decal and may have some pics on their website.  Keep us posted on the build and congrats on the new toy  :2thumbs:

Great score  :2thumbs:

Can you post a picture of the fender tag, i am interested to see what other options it may have come with too........ :clapping:
I do have a picture of the V5W side molding and tape treatment that is special to 1970 Barracuda line up only, i will have to find it and post it up for you to look at. I personally think that the V5_ protection and tape treatment for 1970 Barracuda's to be very tastefully done in fact.
