Congrats on the landing the car.

What part of CA are you in?  We need more cars coming here instead of leaving for rustier parts of the US.  :stirpot:

Thanks everyone for responding! I really appreciate the feedback and information on the V5W stripe.

To the fellow in CA, I'm in So. Cal, in the Inland Empire.

Yes, the 'Cuda was just as described. And the sweet thing (besides the car and fender tag), is the color combo.

A couple of updates:

First, I checked, and yes, the 383 is indeed the original one. Checked near the pan rail and found the 0E and serial no. Pleased about that too.

The bad news is that it doesn't turn over. But I'm thinking it's probably rust, as there's no visible damage. (Of course it could be internal.) It was sitting covered, so I believe a good bath and all should do the trick.

Also, I'm posting the fender tag, sans the order and serial Nos. I've decoded it already and it seems to be your basic BS23.

Note: I'm probably going to have to move this post over to the member's ride section soon.

Here's the tag. Regards, L

So my next question is if that A21 is for the front 70 elastomeric bumper  or if it's for 70-71 Decor package.

Anybody able to clear that up?

For what it's worth: From the option code book

A21   70-71   Elastomeric Colored Front Bumper Package
A22   70-71   Elastomeric Colored Front & Rear Bumper Package

:jumping: You are really close to me. I live in Redlands CA. Welcome neighbor.  There are a couple of good car shows coming up, maybe I will see you there.  Or PM me and we will get together for some Mopar Show and Tell.
