COP ignition! I'm guessing that nub in the distributor hole works as a cam position sensor? Why the engine driven fuel pump or has it just not been removed yet? At the end of the day, does the large investment buy that much improvement over a properly adjusted carb setup? Curious

yeah I just havent taken it off yet, I got the car fired on ignition only first using the carb, then tore the manifold and carb off and started the fuel conversion. I'm not really doing it for improvement to be honest with you, its more of a cool factor for me, and to see if I can do it. I'm at the point of no return now. Ive sold most of my old parts.

Oh man I want to do that so bad. Love that intake, and yes you should see a huge improvement in driveability, starting, idleing, and probably even fuel mileage. Did it fit under your hood? Are you going to show the details so we can follow along?

Same as with my conversion. Because I can...
Not necessarily for more performance but more reliability.  Gas blends now are not carb friendly and I personally am bored with having to rebuild them.

Absolutely,  I'm willing to share everything I've learned in doing this. ill do a write up thread soon. Yes it did fit under my hood. I'm using an AAR hood and it BARELY fit. The fitment issue is the throttle body sits so far forward that it threatens to hit. I'm not sure how a standard hood would work but I can say that the AAR hood works.

Yep, pretty much my feelings. I'm tired of dealing with carbs. New gas blends suck. Its even worse with lawn equipment. Im starting to switch over to electric stuff for that too. Blowers, edgers etc.

I like it looks really good! keep the pics coming!  :2thumbs:
New gas is horrible lost chain saws, blowers and weed wackers so now I'm adding additives and running all gas out before putting away.   :-\
Auto spell I'm tired of your shirt
