I'm at it again!!
« on: June 04, 2005 - 08:22:43 AM »
I went to pick up the Challenger parts car I posted on here a while back, ended up bringing back the 70 numbers matching 383 Satellite. It's a very solid California car, needs a trunk floor in between the frame rails, every where else is solid. All the glass is good, the engine is freshly rebuilt but will go in the barn for now. Anyway, here it is, my new project and it's a keeper! I know, yeah right! Who knows,  :dontknow: I change as much as the weather!

:grinno: No it's not a SuperBird Andrew, it could become one I guess but not in my plans for now.
Thanks April, I believe they are a very nice ride when done up right. I'm not too sure how I'm going with this yet, maybe a sleeper, no logos whatsoever, just big tires, flat black fiberglass lift off hood and a 500 stroker!
Meep Meep? Dunno yet Robb, love the idea but then again, love the idea of just making a killer ride out of it and let everyone guess what it is!  :grinyes:

Plum, it sounds like you have a very solid car worth finishing. It appears you'll be driving soon.

Well Rev, counting my 68 pickup and the 72 Dart that's leaving soon, down to just 3 and keeping the truck and the Satellite. It feels nice though, I'm not gonna bring any more home till I get this one done! (And if you believe that, I found a 72 Hemi Cuda too!)
I hope to get this done by winter TC, the body is straight enough that I can jst go ahead and repair a few minor items and spray it. It's been sandblasted and prepped for the most part but with a color change, it's gonna take a bit more work. If not completed by then at least running and doing finishing touches.
