Just crusty enough to make it value a question mark... Most good ones sell in the $12-1500 range.. A few have gone over 2K but with the rust I'd say $1000-1200 would be in the ballpark...  The again you could soak it in Evaporust & take your chances... If it turns out it's solid you'll get more, if the back area turns out to be a mess......

I need one for a T/A, but the rust is the big issue.  Wish I could look at it in person.  Let me know what you're going to ask for it.  Thanks.
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

I can try evaporust or vinegar if that may help on the rust issue,I like to see it go back on where it belongs even though they look cool on the garage wall,I have more six pack air cleaners

I don't know about Evaporust, but vinegar will destroy it if it has a lot of rust, but then again who wants it, if it has so much rust.

I too am looking for one for my Cuda, but since it is a restomod I am not overly concerned about being restorable (have a A12 6 pack fiberglass based on it now), that said that one is pretty rough. If it was cheap I would take my chanced and try and fix it, but I am sure it costs more than I want to spend.

I blasted the Base, the area of concern is blasted and has some pitting,it held up well but I did note a couple minor pin holes that will need attention. the plate i removed it is thin in 1 area and have soaking still,Myself would make a new one,i was able to save 1 thumb screw the other no but still have it the threads came out. price is $1500 comes with lid in pics.
