thanks dave.. all work is being done at    "CAROLINA CLASSIC RESTORATIONS " in Spartanburg ,  SC. just cant say enough about vic and mike .. a good shop on the up and coming ! very detail oriented . mike is an outstanding metal worker... I am doing my on engine work.. Should have  some dyno results in another month or two .. :biggrin:

Gy8 is the body color . for 1971 it is gold leaf metallic . black vinyl top .  I fixed the post with the window sticker ... I did not get it loaded the first time . sorry !

I am not cutting any corners  at all . lots of nos ....$$$ !!!  :eek2:  hope it will be ready by july ..  of 17.........

an up date on the progress.  This Car was STOLEN and robbed of a lot of parts... I have found and replaced the missing parts with nos. or factory orig. parts..  the shop doing the work has been behind me 100% in putting it back as close as we can. I am very thankful for  them... we used the orig. window sticker and some photos of the car that were taken on the first day of ownership. [ orig owner car !] any detail we could keep has been preserved !! I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I do !

like the studs welded in.. no water issues that way!! body lines are nice .....and  still going to be refined !!
