Charlotte Auto Fair

I posted this in the "Shows&Drags" section but it didn't get any attention so I figured I'd try it here.

Have any of you guys ever been to the Charlotte Auto Fair in NC?

Me and the wife are going for the first time this year and was wondering what you guys thought of it.

Have been a few times.. Tons of cars and more tons of vendors with car parts.  It's called the Food Lion  Auto Fair if that is the one you are referring to.  Well worth the trip.

Apparently it's the same one. Looking on their website it doesn't mention Food Lion that I've seen but a Google search with "Food Lion Auto Fair" brought up the same site I've been looking at.

I'm hoping to pick up some good parts and check out some cars. I think their site says they also have project cars for sale.  :naughty:

There are usually a lot of cars for sale.  The most reasonable last time I went were Corvetts.  You will enjoy.  Be prepared to do a lot,of walking.  Cars are parked all around the track.  Vendors on the infield.

Its a great show with lots of vendors..   Met vendor there that eventually sold me my metal garage.   Cars are also parked behind/under the stands, which when you get hot (yep it gets hot in April in Carolina) you can walk around in the shade looking at cars.

Yea the heats no surprise I live in SC so the trip to Charlotte takes about an hour and a half. I'm sure some shade will be much appreciated.

I'm hoping to get some black interior parts and maybe even a block if I'm lucky :burnout:
