    1970 gran coupe tail panel paint ?

    Would anybody know from factory specs where the argent paint should stop on the rear tail light panel of a 1970 gran coupe? is photo# 1 correct or photo #2

    Hi Rob,

    The second picture is the correct picture for a Gran Coupe painted tail panel my friend. You should have three holes on each rear quarter for the trim piece to fit on to, the paint line is masked half way under the trim parts themselves. The textured argent also is painted as low as where the rear bumper bolts on as well buddy. Does that help with your questions or do you think you may need some picture examples, i could have a dig around and see if i have something for reference for you.

    Yes, Photo 2.  It goes halfway behind the trim, and rolls up just under the trunk lid, and down to the seam behind the bumper:

    what is the best product to use? brand and part number, code number. for the closest look to factory.
