Hello All -

So I know that I am not on the forums nearly as much as I was in recent years & I know that a good portion of the members that I knew from the first couple Carlisle get-togethers aren't on here nearly as much either, but a few are still around.

On Thursday I was notified about halfway through the day that my father had collapsed on a cross-country ski trail while out skiing with one of his closest friends. After sitting in the ER waiting room for three-plus hours, I say with a heavy heart that he didn't even make it from out of the trail.

I know that he truly enjoyed meeting those of you who attended the Chryslers at Carlisle show back in '05 and always said that he looked forward to seeing my car finished up and seeing me get enjoyment going back to these shows with my '73.

Just off the top of my head, he enjoyed meeting and talking to the following members at Grandpa's Growler:

* MEKrunner (Mike)
* Rev-It-Up (Laura) & her ex, Redline aka Chris (great guy with great children!)
* Pixie Duster (Heather, Chris & Laura's daughter)
* 4Cruzn' (Dave)
* Whitesatinmopar (Jim & Pam)
* BB73Challenger
* Torredcuda (Jeff)
And whoever else he had a chance to meet during the trip.

I hope to be able to begin going to the national MoPar shows soon, so I look forward to being able to catch up with those of you who are still around fro the list above.

Thanks,
Mark

Wow Mark . . . That is truly very SAD news!  Both of your parents were completely awesome on our trip to Carlisle that year and I really enjoyed meeting them.  I remember thinking how lucky you were to have parents like that and to have them still married, happy and supporting you like they did!

Mark was young that year and wanted to go to Carlisle with the group. .  His parents supported him but of course were hesitant to let him run off with a bunch of unknown motor heads that he had only met on an Internet car site and knew none of them personally.  So they tagged along with us to ensure his safety . . . I think after the weekend was complete, they would of let him run off with us anytime.  They were great people and really down to earth!

If you need anything in this difficult time, please don't be shy . . . Let me know what I can do to help!
