Looks familiar ... not too many EB3 Ice-Blue HemiCudas around ... so when you see one you tend to remember it. Did your "friend" pick that car up at one of the big auctions a few years ago? Not BJ or Mecum ... Russo and Steele maybe? If he picked it up after the market fell he probably got a good price on it. These cars are recovering and climbing again. Don't know what the miles are but it can't be too terribly much. Placard says it has had a full OE resto done on it. Numbers matching too. It's not a High-Impact" color, but I like EB3 and it is relatively uncommon. Leather interior and an unusual C26 overhead console to boot! The car is a beauty for sure. I'm no appraiser, but I would guess some where around $250K or so  :dunno:

I love the color.  As for price....$175,000 to $250,000.  I know my price range is spread wide....however, there are a LOT of variable that we don't know about the car.

I hope he has good luck in selling it.  :2thumbs:

Is your friend from Red Deer, Alberta because that is where it was 4-5 months ago when I saw it up close. It was at the EG Car Auction and I spoke to the owner. Car was restored by RK Motors and purchased by the owner I spoke to in 2009 at Russo and Steele for $130K USD. Owner felt the car was worth $150-$160USD today, and set the reserve at the Red Deer auction at $200K CDN. It failed to meet the reserve as the high bid was $150K CDN. From the outside that car was very nice, engine bay could use some detailing and there were numerous in-correct items. Owner seemed to be in it for the investment as he had a couple non-mopars for sale as well.

Done you think the fact that RK did the resto holds the value back? I did not and still have not seen any proof of numbers matching engine. If I was selling a vehicle I would at least include a photo of the engine serial number.

Ya that is more then likely the same car. He mostly has Chevy's and a couple Fords, this is the only Mopar. I believe he preferred a 4spd car when he bought it.

$200k Cdn is only $140k USD? So that honestly doesn't seem too unrealistic if that's what he was asking.  :dunno:

We are heading Barrett Jackson this week so will be seeing how the market it this year. Can't wait!

Anyway, he has't asked me to post here, just thought I would put out a feeler in the event someone is looking before he sends it State side.   :2thumbs:

I think $140K USD is fair money for sure. Just not sure if RK resto holds it back. Would like to here from others what they think.

I'm not familiar with them unfortunately. The car does look very nice and clean, there are a few odds and ends that could be easily changed to be more "correct" but all in all minor stuff.  :2thumbs:

If anyone is serious maybe send along a PM. I just kinda of wanted to get an idea of value in case there was interest locally before he sent it along to auction, I don't really want to have too much discussion since its not my car.      :woohoo:

If the Cuda has the documented Numbers Matching Hemi, I would think the value would be in the $200k to $250k range with the only thing holding it back would be the Auto Transmission.  I may be a little high on the price range given my point of reference was my friends original Hemi Cuda that had the 4 speed which I believe he has sent sold.

This one was a no sale at Mecum at 220k USD. Now it is a 4 speed but this resto needs a re-fresh.

I'm thinking this car is easily worth the $140USD....not a great time to try to sell it in Alberta right now with the hurting economy.    :bricks1:

I think the most important selling point on this car is the claimed numbers matching. The owner would do well to back this up with pics of the engine serial number. Guys would want confirmation before laying out that kind of coin.

I agree with this point also
Was curious as to the way that it will be sold also? Big name auction? e-bay? private sale?
I think pics of the #s is great especially if the trans and rear #s  are original to that car also.
