73 challenger front bumper
« on: January 26, 2016 - 07:09:08 AM »
Is there any way the front bumper on my 73 challenger can be placed closer to the body? I'm trying not to use the bumper fillers because they are in pretty rough shape. Will 72 bumper brackets fit? If so will it bring the bumper closer to the body.

I believe you can use the '72 brackets to move the bumper closer to the car. Allan might know better about it.

:iagree: or 70-71 bumper brackets will get the bumper closer to the body.

Do you think I can cut slots in the brackets, so the bumper will fit closer to the body? Thanks

You can slot the brackets to a degree. Eventually where the 2 brackets meet in a V they will not go back any further.
