Well as I'm sure you all get a lot here I'll try to spare you the long story of trying to get my dad's car back, but that's what I'm here for!
I've grown up around muscle cars thanks to my dad and his Chevelle. It's been a great experience and these old cars have been a huge part of my childhood. My dad has told me countless stories about all of his old cars and he was pretty big into Mopars back in the day. If I would be able to track down any of his old cars that would be so cool and my dad would love to talk to the owners about the car's history. I know the chances are slim, but he had some special cars so maybe someone, somewhere, has info on the whereabouts of them!
I don't know the best place to post this, probably the "Everything Else" section as it seems to get the most use on this site. But for now I'll post it in the intros just because I'd like to introduce myself as well!
Anyway here are some of his old mopar rides. I've got vintage pics as well as some VIN's which I'll post later. But with only ~2700 AAR's built maybe one of these will stand out just from the description.
- 1970 AAR, sublime, black interior, 4 speed, urethane bumpers
- 1970 AAR, red, red interior, 4 speed, this car actually had a 426 Hemi swapped into it when he bought it
- 1969 Coronet R/T 440, red, black interior, 4 speed, manual brakes and manual steering, my dad actually received a call in the 90's about this car being restored in the Kansas City area but never heard what happened to it after that.
- 1970 Challenger R/T 340, not much info on this one as he owned it just a few weeks before trading it for one of the AAR's
