Tips for getting overspray or other debris off side glass
« on: January 31, 2016 - 01:10:06 PM »
I had the car soda blasted and then painted,,etc,,,

I did not remove the rear side glass ( it was taped off ) ( everything else was removed )

Glass is not pitted,,,,but very gritty,,and looks to have some over spray,,,or other grit on it,,,,

tried some windex ( which i figured wouldnt do much ),,,

is there something more aggressive i can use on the windows to clean them up without damaging it ?

0000 steel wool, don't use 00 or 000 steel wool... When you use 0000 steel wool use lots of glass cleaner to lubricate the glass & prevent scratches...

Lacquer thinner works if the paint hasn't set up too hard. Razor blade works too.
