    It's ALIVE!!!

    i put my TCI super street fighter in the other night at at 1 am friday night i fired her up :fire: I bought the car on the owners word never having heard it run, good thing i'm a trusting guy. The car runs great. started right up no hickups or anything. Doesn't even have a choke and it held and idle ;D all i need now is a kickdown linkage (should be in on tuesday) and i can hit the streets for the first time. I can't wait.

    My cars nickname is the "4 eyed, 440 powered, flying purple mustang eater" ---->mopar :spank: <------ford

    for now i'm just giong to go through it and clean things up. I want to get the interior re-done, rechrome the mirrors and door handles, polish up the engine bay a little,  I need some new gears i have 2:76's in it now :ack: i have a spare 742 carrier in my trunk which is going to be fitted with most likely 3:73

     :stomp: spottted a slight drip coming fromt the trans so i go under to tighten it and as soon as i do tranny fluid starts pouring out. Now i have to get a new line before i can drive her :mad: It did engage the trans when i put it into gear though so that's a good sign, or a huge tease :burn:

    line if fixed and i'm in bussiness. took it for a short ride. Car is definitly quick but those 2.76 gears gotta go :banghead: with a new set of 3:73 i'll think i'll have nice little rocket ship.

    I've got 2.96's under my car and it's a DOG off the line... but after 3000 rpm, she starts taking off... time for the 3.55's!! :grinyes: :tongue:
