Brake line mounting on back of DANA rear....??
« on: February 07, 2016 - 10:36:16 AM »
Installed my rear brake lines,,,,no issues,,,,but notice there is a "tab" on each side of the axle tube ( looks like a thin piece of sheet metal tacked on the rear,,, and points up )

I assume this might be a clip or something for the brake lines ???  :dunno:

If so,,,how does this attach to the rear lines as they run along the differential....

thx,,,,

It's just bent down over the line.... Personally I's probably bend them down over a similar sized drill bit then insert the brake line.. That way theres no chance of damaging the brake line..

:iagree:  If your lines are pre-bent they should match up to the axle shape and the tabs bend over the lines to hold them in place.
