Brake lines
« on: February 07, 2016 - 07:37:15 PM »
Yes I have another question about brakes. I'm converting front to disc & leaving rear as drums (on my 67 barracuda). Going with a conversion kit from Doctor diff & looking at new lines. There's the 'rear axle line selector' the 'front to rear line selector' and a 'front brake line selector'. Do I need all of those? I know I need the axle line, but is there a front line AND a front to rear line or is it a 'one or the other' situation? Or am I better off just getting it all & returning anything I end up not needing?
Thanks again for any words of wisdom.

you should end up with 7 lines total , 2 from the master cylinder to the proportioning valve , you may want to look at the Wilwood 5 line adjustable unit , 3 out from the proportioning valve , 1 to left front , 1 to right front & 1 to the rear , then you have the flex hose to the diff & 2 lines across the diff .
260- 1179 is the part # for the wilwood prop valve
