70 BARRACUDA HEATER FAN SPEED IS "HIGH" ONLY
« on: February 10, 2016 - 10:49:52 PM »
How does one troubleshoot the heater blower/fan only works on HIGH and not MEDIUM. Should I be looking at the fan motor or switch? Either/or, how does one check both with a volt meter?  :clueless:

Darcy

Fan motor either works or it doesn't so its not the motor. You can ck for power at the switch or the resistor on top of the heater box. That's what controls the speeds.

Switch or resistors. Motor is good.

The resistors look like springs. At least on a '73 they do.
