Saw a new 2006 Charger last Saturday.
« on: June 06, 2005 - 01:20:18 PM »
It was on the highway.  It looks better in person and on the road.  It still isn't pretty though and definitely not a Charger.   I happened to be in a store yesterday also and the lady working there asked me if I had seen them.  I told her yes but didn't comment on my opinion of the car.  She said she really wants one so I guess there is a demand for it.   People also bought that hideous Aztec.

I saw one this weekend also, If I was looking for  a new family car I might buy one.  I was surprised the base price with the Hemi was under $30K.  My buddy test drove one this afternoon, I have talked to him to see how it drove, but I think he might trade in his Sebring vert for one.

One came into the local cruise night and parked this past Sat. We all refused to go look at it. It is not a charger!! I would buy a 300C or the new Mustang before I would buy one. Our local Dodge dealer has 5 or 6 new ones on the lot. I hope they stay there..

As much as we hate them there going to fly off the shelf.      Saw one a few months back at the chrysler proving grounds in phoenix during the H.E.M.I. show from the local mopar unlimited down there.

I would pull at the chargers emblems off and drive one.

:coffee: The 300 C is a class car and one that will probably be my wife's daily driver. The so called new charger is a shame and a sham. I do hope they fly off the lot, with a giant recall of them all by D/C and recycled into something worthwhile, well I guess with the 4 doors they could be used as large "file" cabinets.  :nono:

I saw it at the dealer on Saturday, it was a nice car, the SRT8 pictures look even nicer.

JUST CHANGE THE NAME, THOUGH!

Darn things look like a re-fabbed station wagon built for preppies! We have a quarry for beasts like that!

The question is, will it fare better than the GTO/Holden Monaro that Pontiac tried to pawn off on an unsuspecting public?
