I noticed that you did not have subframe connectors on there.....If you are going with the hotchkis subframe connectors, that might cause you issues??....I was told they hang really low...from what I understand they flattened out the ta exhaust and in a few pics had more of a boomtube flat muffler to compensate???
There is no way that I can see to add subframe connectors since the 2 1/2" pipe runs right in front of the frame rail. I have approx 6" clearance on the tips and cannot figure out a way with out bending them up or going with taller tires to get more. I'm not sure what the clearance was on the AARs or T/As originally.
Also, with the primary mount for the exhaust attached to my frame rail and secondary off the tip there is no rattling and it still looks stock from the side.
Yes, Hotchkis subframe connectors hang really low, and the couple of guys on here that installed them commented they don't like that feature. I talked to Hotchkis and they initially had the AAR/T/A exhaust below their subframe connectors, then customized the exhaust to be a boom tube type with a muffler that has an inlet and a 90 degree outlet to the custom built flat tip. I also looked at boom tubes and called Dr. Gas. My first concern is that they are VERY LOUD according to Dr. Gas. They also said you would have to cut into the boom tube muffler/tips to get them to fit with a subframe.
