Complete 489-case center section for 8-3/4" Mopar axle. It's got Richmond 4.10 gears on a Borg-Warner cone-type differential, all in great condition. Cone clutches are tight, differential pin and bore are in perfect condition, and it leaves twin black stripes every time. It turns smoothly, drove well, and did not leak. The yoke is for the smaller 7260 U-joint. Richmond gears use the 10-spline yokes and I do have a 7290 (large) 10-spline pinion yoke available at extra charge if you want or need it. I can even perform the yoke changeout for you if you'd like.
This was removed from a friend's '72 Barracuda last year for something more livable on the highway. Gas is cheap again, and it's only going down for the foreseeable future... time to have some fun again! Nothing boosts the fun factor like a set of deep gears!
