Exhaust hanger bracket
« on: February 14, 2016 - 02:26:09 PM »
I guess this bracket in the upper part of the picture is the stock exhaust hanger bracket, my exhaust was just hanging from drilled holes with bolts behind the back seat. Since there is only one, my car probably had a single pipe from the factory. Now, are those available so I can get one for the other side also? Looked at AMD, they don't have them. I guess I could make one.

But is this not a good location of a bracket for an aftermarket system? (have a TTI system to mount later). Since the holes for the system that was on there (a Magnaflow system) was in a different location.

the brackets were available for both sides. You will need them for a TTI system. Under the rear seat the floor will have dimples to show where to drill the holes for proper location

Yes, the TTI hangers bolt to those brackets.  If I remember correctly, I had to buy the the bracket for the driver side since my car was a single exhaust.

Yeah, they are a bit ugly.  I painted mine black to hide them a bit.  You can see them on the right side in the pic.

Yep,  :2thumbs: painted mine black too. One of the first things I did after I put the system on.
