If it is still there ask owner if you can have it when he removes it.

Thank God they didn't put a Rust Staing instead.
Somebody had good taste who made the ad.

Will do, they are at each pump and also over the trash can.

Don't know if it's a national ad, will check other stations.

Is Texaco in all states?

No, there used to be a lot of Texaco stations around here in the Chicago area, but they disappeared IIRC maybe around the mid to late 80s.  I felt deprived as a child because Texaco would have some cool giveaway promotions I wanted like a Fireman's helmet and my parents never got me one.  :'(
They used to have Sinclair stations here too, until they went away.  I do still have a green Sinclair dinosaur bank my parents must have got me when I was little, so I guess I wasn't completely deprived.
Never saw a Sunoco station anywhere near here ever.
Valero is another large gasoline retailer I've never seen anywhere near here.
I guess gasoline companies must be somewhat regional?

Looks like Texaco may be down to only 16 or so states in, they were the first to be in all states.
Oh yeah, you missed out on Sunoco 260 and all those , I think , they had 6 grades at the pump.
Worked at a Boron , had boron , octron and cetron.

Chevron bought out Texaco in 2001.  That's why you don't see many of them around as you did prior.  The brand was kept solely for retail stores and brand recognition.  I would know, it's my company!

Closest station to me is a 120 miles round trip if they have one.  :banghead: I may have to call them and see if they have one, I would love to put it in the garage.

I picked up two of the large signs today, when the owner gets replaces I can get one more large and three small signs.
They were supposed to be removed 12-31-15 but the company did not send enough news ones.

AARUFAST you asked for one, PM address and I'll send.
